Openarc provide switch platforms from Edgecore and Accton. These are broadly divided into three categories and are provided on hardware platforms at 100GE, 10GE, GE and FE application ranges.
1) Data Centre Switches; 46, 56, 67 and 77 series platforms from GE to 100GE.
Bare metal, provided direct from factory with only the ONIE software. Choose the platform according to chipset, scale and performance to fit your needs
a) White label switches, provided with a software load from either Cumulus or Accton to serve as a platform for customer integration into an SDN controlled fabric, host platform for customer’s own software switching applications, or platform for network of data analytics to customer’s own design.
b) Cloud fabric, provided as a pre integrated arrangement of leaf and spine switches with a Big Switch controller. Plug and play construction of a cloud fabric.
c) Big Tap Data monitoring, provided as a pre integrated arrangement of switches including SDN flow filtering to extract customer configured data flows from taps in the data plane for monitoring. Low cost, high performance, flexible and massive scale potential over appliance based solutions with the potential for new analytic opportunities opened by the distributed architecture.
